That took me far too long. XD Although, I did take a rather long break to cook and eat dinner. Which was GREAT 'cause I never cook. And it's just so satisfying to cook your own meal and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Yum.

In other news, like any student, I've been insanely busy. Assignments ALL THE TIME. As soon as I finish one, another one will be due in a short time and I need to get started on it right away. Bah. I want to get moving with the plot for our character journals, but I have no tiiime. TT__TT I really hope we'll be able to do some sort of plot developement soon though, that would be nice.

Also, I'm taking swing dance classes at school and it's sooooo much fun. I love it. I've always loved swing music and I always thought it would've been great to learn how to dance to it, but I never thought I would, 'cause I'm a TERRIBLE dancer. But, I tried it and it's lots of fun and even though I make mistakes, I'm not as bad as I would have thought. So yay. ^__^ Also, I'm so glad I took ASL, it is so much fun. I'm starting to find that I do the signs to words I know when I'm talking to people who don't know a thing about sign language, out of pure habit. Which is probably good for the learning process. Sometimes I get looks though. XD But it's fun, so who cares.

I can't think of any other little facts about the going-ons of my life, so I will end on this note: Everyone needs to watch A Very Potter Musical. It's the greatest fucking musical ever made. Ever. It's a lulz-fest, but the writing and acting is fantastic and the music is great and did I mention that it's hilarious? So go to YouTube and watch it. Noooow.

Let's try this again, shall we?

First of all: NEW LAYOUT! HOORAY! I've been meaning to do it for ages. And a few new icons. It looks great to me, but apparently on Leah's computer, it's all weird. Is it all crazy for other people?

So anyway. About not ever going on livejournal. Um. Hm. Should I do some sort of recap? Or just talk about things I'm into right now?

Too lazy. Maybe later. I really, really, really need to update theatricmood or else cws_eat_chs may just kill me. For those who don't know what that is, it's my character journal of the Tenth Doctor that I got roped into doing with cws_eat_chs , who is the Master. And maidm is a character called Alice, who also happens to be awesome. And my dear sister plays Donna. It's all good fun. :D The whole thing started because cws_eat_chs was writing stories to me via text message about the Doctor and the Master if they were stuck in 50s America. We got so attached to the crackiness of the AU, we started character journals. Although, it started to get serious, but that's ok. It's still fun. Unfortunately, I suuuck at updating. But I'm working on it!

So I'm home for reading week, hooray!

But MAN, I ALWAYS forget how comfortable my bed is. Jeez! It makes me dread going back to Ottawa and my 1 inch foam mattress... --sigh-- You see... You'd think I was kidding... But I'm actually not. It might be 1 and a half inches. But it's not 2, I know that much.

Also, last night I saw Coraline. A-MAZ-ING. I loooooooooooooved it. SO much. Tim Burton... My love for you will never die. I actually said that like 1 minute after the credits started rolling. Seriously people. See this movie. It's been one night and I already want to see it again! I am actually going to see it again at least once this week. It's that good.

What is with me not posting for weeks and then posting crap loads of things all of a sudden? Psh.

Anyway, last night I dreamed I was camping. And now I REALLY want to go camping.

I haven't been on a camping trip for too many years! At least 3! That's just not cricket. I used to go on a canoe trip EVERY SINGLE YEAR. And now, NOTHING. I miss it so much... But I seriously want to organize a camping trip. I don't know with who, or when, but dammit, I want to do it.

Although I don't know what I'm capable of at this point, endurance-wise... I'm not worried about portages, but rather the amount of time I'd spend canoeing. We used to travel every day for around 6 hours, but I don't know if I could stay at that pace, since it's been a few years. But I'd still like to do a trip that lasts around 3-5 days, and every night would be at a different camp sight. Like... The first day, we'd start from some entrance to Algonquin Park and canoe for a few hours, then make camp, then get up the next morning, pack up and get moving, canoe for a bit, have lunch, then canoe for a bit more, then make camp again, and repeat the whole process for a few more nights. It would be SO MUCH FUN. AH. I wanna do it. But I really have no idea who'd want to do this with me. Bah. I used to go on a family camping trip with my dad, my uncles and my cousins (we called it the cousin's canoe trip), but none of them are interested in camping anymore. Laura is, but she's in England and that makes me sad... And my dad is, but I want to go with a bunch of people... Not TOO many people, but something like... 4-6, or 2-3 canoes. It would be awesome. I was thinking of asking Jenn, 'cause I remember her talking about camping a couple years ago, but that would be one person. XD Althought Grady would probably come... But that's only 2 people... I dunno. There's also the problem of getting there. Algonqin is a good 5ish hours from here, although it depends on the entrance you use. But still, I'd need to go with someone who has a car/can drive a car.

CURSE PLANNING THINGS. I wish I could just fly there. I can in my dreams, so why can't I do it now? ... Don't worry, I'm not going to jump off a building any time soon. lol, "any time soon"...

I've also always wanted to go winter camping..... But I think that's out of the question.

1. When did you start watching Doctor Who and why?

I watched it sometime around when it was being aired in Canada. Mimi showed it to me one night and I loved it, so I decided to start following it and I watched a little more than the last half of the season while it was airing in Canada.

2. What was your first serial/episode?

Rose. Like I said, Mimi showed it to me, so she started from the beginning (of the new series, obviously).

3. Which serials/episodes have you seen?

Hmm, let's see. All of Nine and Ten. The TV movie. All of the Two serials that are still existing and a couple of fan reconstructions. The first couple serials of Three, plus his last season. The first three seasons of Four. One Five serial (Enlightenment), one Six serial (The Two Doctors) (I REALLY want to watch more though, but I have no space on my computer, so I need to watch and get rid of some other serials I have), like two different halfs of two different Seven serials, OH and the first One serial "An Unearthly Child".

3a. Favourite?

Well, I haven't seen enough of One, Five or Seven. And I've only seen one of Six, but I consider The Two Doctors as one of my favourite serials. And if it counts, Eight's movie is a favourite too. For the Doctors I've seen more of...

Well, a WHOLE BUNCH of my friends are into it. I think this is how it goes... Mimi introduced it to me and Leah, and then we introduced it to the Drama Hall group, some took to it more than others, but everyone enjoys it. I know Deirdre has been watching Three and wants to watch Four, which makes me happy because I love Old Skool Who. :D I also got my sister into it, and she consequently got Lindsey into it. My mom also seems to like it, but she's never motivated to watch it. XD But basically... We pretty much owe it all to Mimi for getting us into the show. You rock MimI!

5. Which Doctor is your favourite?

Well, I seem to change my mind a lot, but RIGHT NOW I seem to have a pretty solid idea of my favourite Doctors: Two and Six are tied for first, while Three is a close second and Four is right behind him. But, really, I honestly love all the Doctors. So much.

6. Which Doctor is your least favourite?

I like how it says "least favourite" and not "worst". Although that doesn't make it any easier, I love them all. D: The only way for me to chose a Doctor would probably be more dependant on the episodes/serials he's in rather than that particular Doctor himself. From what I've seen... Seventh Doctor and Fifth Doctor serials aren't my style. BUT I STILL LOVE THEM. So I can't honestly answer this question.

7. Which TV companion is your favourite?

Jamie, Sarah Jane, Harry, Benton, The Brig (if those two count), Peri, Donna and Leela

8. Which TV companion is your least favourite?

Rose. I liked her more when she was with Nine though. Also... From what I've seen, I just don't see the big deal with Romana II. But I will give her a chance when I get further into Four's serials.

I had never heard of it, but when I read that, I thought it meant people going out on dates and not when UNIT episodes were supposed to take place. XD Anyway, the controversy is clearly just sloppiness on the writers part for not keeping it consistant. You can try and make excuses, but really... The writers just suck. XD

What can I say about this? It's trufax in the Whoniverse, I don't really have anything to say about it.

- I don't think the Doctor is asexual, but I don't think he was with most of his companions in That Way.
- Colin Baker was a FANTASTIC Doctor
- All the expanded universe is canon to me (unless there's conflicting continuity)
- I love Eight's movie (and I think it's adorable that he kisses Grace at the end :D)
- I am completely convinced that Doctor/Jamie is canon. XD I have other ships, but that's the only one that In My Mind is actually canon.
- I like to think that the Doctor just felt bad for Rose and River, so he played along with the fact that they love him. Not saying he didn't love them AT ALL, just not in the same way. I mostly think this just to make me feel better because I don't like their romances, I know it's actually not canon... It just makes me feel better.

I fail epicly at going on LiveJournal regularly. But I do have a little note pad on my desktop where I write things that I want to put in my next entry, so I'm prepared! :D

I love my school, 'cause I was studying in the library the other day and this girl just comes by and gives me a Red Bull "to help me finish my studying." It wasn't just me, she had a whole bag of them, it was clearly some sort of thing they were doing for the students. But I thought that was just so nice that they'd do that. It's a little thing, but it was thoughtful and very useful as well, not like a rubbish pamphlet or anything. XD It made my day.

I also got around to downloading some Christmas music. I love the classic carols, they're so pretty. And I found this fantastic album called "A Festival of Carols in Brass" which is a purely instrumental brass ensemble. I am DYING at how pretty it is. I keep listening to it over and over again. I FREAKING LOVE BRASS ENSEMBLES! They make me cap happy and musicgasm and other lovely things.

Also, it's freaking cold and it's not fair. I meant to do some studying today, but since I decided to stay warm, I stayed at home and therefore didn't get anything done. Which is dumb, I know. But I get so distracted when I'm at home. I study much better in the library. But in the snow it takes me like 45 minutes to walk to school and it's so COLD and it seems so FAR just to study, which I can do here... But I don't... I suppose I'll just have to force myself to go to the university for the next week. Bah.

ALSO, OMG MERLIN. Like... The episode was really intense and stuff, and Morgana was awesome as usually and I was SO into it the whole time. Also, I am attracted to dark!Merlin. Good stuff. Also, I really wanted to hug Gwen. D: BUT FOR SERIOUS, the thing that makes me utilize the capslock button is the preview for the next/last episode. OMFG. AH. OMG. ARG. SNGDFBSPOFGsDV. I can't wait 'till next week, holy crap. AHHH. ..... That is all.

OH OH OH and new SJA! The Briiiiiiiiiiiiiig! Ahhh, I love the Brig so much. AND PART 2 IS TOMORROW! YAYAY! 8D

Oh, and lastly, a slightly moar srs subject. I've been having these really bad nightmares. D: I know that EVERYONE has nightmares, it's totally normal and everything, but these are really, really different. I've had incredibly terrifying nightmares the past three nights in a row, and that's not so normal... I think I keep having such bad dreams is because of the nightmare I had a few nights ago...

I'd experienced some pretty scary shit. And when I say scary, I mean really fucking scary. And not in nightmares or anything, real life scary shit. And no one reading this knows what I'm talking about because I've never told anyone. But the point is... This particular nightmare I had a few nights back was the most frightening experience of my life. And it wasn't nessicarily the content that made it scary... I mean, the content WAS scary, but it wasn't simply that. For those who don't know what night terrors are, they're not actual dreams, but simply very strong feelings experienced during sleep, at the most associated with a vivid image but nothing more. Also, they don't happen during REM sleep, but in a less deep sleep early on in the night. So I know what I had WASN'T a night terror. But it's the closest thing I can think of to describing what this nightmare was like. Because, during the dream, I KNEW I was dreaming and that it wasn't real, and the feeling DIDN'T go away. And then I woke up and I COULDN'T MOVE. My whole body felt like it was on fire, my chest hurt, I was having much trouble breathing and I was too terrified to do anything. I'm pretty sure what I was feeling was what complete and utter terror feels like. At least it's the closest I've ever felt to it.

Like I said, what it was about wasn't the important thing. Which sounds weird when describing a nightmare... But for those who are interested, the part where I was actually feeling this horrible fear was when this... Sort of... Living corpse or ghost... I'm not quite sure what she was... But she was in a window of a building very far away, but I could hear her voice in my head. And she was saying that she knew what I did and that I could run and hide, but she would find me and kill me. And her head... Even though she was really far away, SOMEHOW, in a way I can't even describe, I could see her, and her head was tilting 90 degrees to her neck, and would rapidly switch between sides. It was incredibly unnerving.

But anyway, since this nightmare, I've been afraid to go to sleep. Which SUCKS because I love sleep. Sleep is usually so good... But now it feels more tiring than anything. And I have good reason to be afraid, because when I do sleep, I have really bad nightmares. Granted, not as bad as the first one, but they're still pretty fucking scary.

So yeah, if anyone has actually gotten through my MASSIVE entry, I would love some advice or something. I've never had a problem like this before and I would very much like it to go away, because I miss having a good sleep. D:

Happy TARDIS Day one and all!

November 23rd celebrated the 45th anniversary of Doctor Who! I am pleased. My day MOSTLY sucked 'cause I had a lot of work, but near the end of the day, I ate pizza, talked to Deirdre on MSN and then talked to Mimi on Skype for a couple hours, and that more than made up for it. :D 'Twas good fun.

On top of that, Mimi gave me a wickedawesome present for TARDIS Day in the form of Frobisher comics! I'm so excited to read them! :D I love you Mimi! I have a little present to give back, although I didn't put as much work into it as you did to put together those comics... But at least it's something, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it! :D

I think I'll update for once in my life. I SHOULD be doing my Astronomy assignment, but I'm not. It has a funny cartoon in it. :]

I'm kinda-sorta-half-dead. SO MUCH WORK. AHH. I had two exams and an assignment last week, and I have two assignments this week, and I have an essay, an assignment and a presentation next week. And on top of all that, I'm really behind on my readings. Don't get me wrong, I ask for no sympathy, I'm sure everyone is just as busy/stressed as me, or even worse. I'm just saying. Venting a little helps me feel better. And on that note...

MY WEDNESDAY SUCKED LAST WEEK. I had an exam 8:30 that morning, and I had to get up at 6 in the morning, so I got 4 hours of sleep. I leave the house at 7, do my exam (which didn't go so great 'cause I was physically sick from tired), then go straight to the library to study. I... don't remember eating... I don't think I did... It's kinda blurry. Anyway, I study 'till my next class, which is at 2:30. At 4, I'm thinking of skipping Astronomy 'cause I feel like crap, but of course I don't because I actally enjoy that class. So I study until then. And when I say study, I don't mean slack-off-and-study-a-little-but-mostly-do-things-to-pass-the-time, I mean straight study. Which, honestly, I really didn't think I could do. Wait, I took a half an hour break to eat. I remember eating dinner. Which is good. Anyway, after Astronomy, it's 9 and I need to go home. BUT it's a gorgeous night so they're doing a viewing session at the observatory. And being the nerd that I am, I go 'cause Uranus is out (SO COOL BTW). So that was an extra hour standing in below freezing temperatures. And I finally get home at 10:30pm. --counts-- That's almost a 16 hour day. Holy crap, I thought it was 14 this whole time until I just counted it now. XD Being insanely tired = bad math skillz. Anyway. So yeah. Shit-tastic 16-hour day of work while I ran on 4 hours of sleep. I haven't done something that draining since I stayed up for 56 hours (I think) straight to do a physics project. I didn't DO the project for 56 hours, I went to school every day and went home after for a bit, THEN I went to my friends house and stayed there all night to do the project. And I did that two nights in a row. FUN TIMES.

ANYWHOO, getting off-topic here. Point is... I'm tired... And I have so much work... I am SO going to find another white hair from all this.

But on the bright side, despite all the craziness, I'm mostly in high spirits. My Tom Baker scarf is coming along nicely, I'm about 30cm into the thing. I'm listening to Doctor Who audio books by Big Finish, and they are AWESOME. Seriously. They're so fantastic. As good as, and sometimes better, then some of the serials. I love Six. So much. He is made of love.

OH, also, the new Futurama movie Bender's Game is awesome. It spoofs Lord of the Rings a lot, which makes me happy. There was also much hilarity to be had, especially on the part of Roberto (whom I love).

OMG WALL-E IS COMING OUT TOMORROW. 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Have I said enough pointless crap? I figured I should make up for lost time. I'll stop now.

But on a completely NOT pointless note, it was Mimi's birthday on Friday, so a HUGE Happy Birthday to you my love, I hope it was good. I think I'll get you a cake when we're both home.
